Netpremacy’s Year Of Gemini
2024 has been a year of extraordinary advancements in AI, with Gemini fully announcing itself as a crucial tool for businesses looking to maximise their Google investment.
As AI continues to integrate seamlessly into various business workflows, Google partners like Netpremacy are leading the charge, innovating and harnessing the power of Gemini to help our customers find success.
We reached out to team members across our organisation to hear their experience with Gemini, it’s effect on their day to days and how they are using it to ensure our customers are well set up to make the most of the tool.
‘The vast majority of customers have embraced Gemini once we've been able to demonstrate the daily uses for end users, and show use cases that align with their specific business needs.
One of Gemini's key differentiators is its ability to be tailored to each customer's unique requirements. Our team of experts works closely with customers to understand their challenges and goals and then configures Gemini to deliver the most value. This tailored approach has been instrumental in our success, as it allows us to deliver assessments that directly address the customer's pain points.
While competing with established AI tools such as ChatGPT and Otter.ai has been challenging, our tailored engagement from both the project and end-user perspectives has given us the edge. Through our assessments, we've demonstrated the value of Gemini, showing customers how it can improve their efficiency, productivity, and decision-making.’
'The structure of our training offerings has stayed consistent post Gemini.
However, we are much more focused on Gemini assessments compared to our traditional offerings. Since June, I would say it has been 90-95% Gemini training. Our customers are keen to ensure their users are making the most of the limited time they have with the tool during their assessment. These businesses are looking to make informed decisions about whether they fully adopt Gemini, so ensuring users hit the ground running is pivotal.
Our team has found itself operating at maximum capacity. We are completing training for one assessment and moving straight to the next, beginning to understand the support those users may need. We are 17 assessments in now, so we are able to identify which areas of Gemini users may need more support.
Gemini as a product is always evolving, with the suite of apps seeing new integrations for users to use. It's an exciting challenge to ensure that we stay on top of it and provide top-level training to help our customers maximise their assessments.'
"It's been brilliant working alongside Google as the features within Gemini have expanded and improved over the year.
This has been a great journey to take with our clients, bringing new use cases to life and showcasing what Gemini has to offer to those who have yet to try it out.
My standout feature so far is Gemini's "Gems" feature - like a super prompt or prompt macro. It's a great way of organising what you do in Gemini, like a favourite playlist - you don't need to start each prompt from scratch. There is much more to come in 2025, too, so I have asked Santa for new rollerblades to keep up!
There are now so many ways to have Gemini assist your daily activities. We're working on developing role-based training so that we can get straight to enjoying the biggest benefits, whether you're in marketing, recruitment, business operations, procurement—the list goes on.
'What stands out about Gemini is its ability to maintain context across large codebases, which has been especially useful when working across hundreds of TypeScript files and React components in our front-end applications. Its deep understanding of Google Cloud services also means we spend less time consulting documentation and more time writing actual code. Having Gemini has helped maintain consistency across our shared codebases, making code reviews more efficient and our repositories more maintainable.
Beyond just code completion, Gemini has become an invaluable "rubber duck" debugging partner, helping surface potential issues early in the development cycle. Its ability to understand both business requirements and technical implementation details has significantly streamlined our development process, whether we're building internal tools or delivering customer solutions.'
