The Role
As a Cloud Customer Engineer, you will act as the trusted technical advisor to our Account Executives and clients.
You will be responsible for translating complex business challenges into compelling, differentiated technical solutions utilising Google Cloud products and services - specifically focusing on Infrastructure (Compute, Networking, Security, Migration) and Data capabilities (BigQuery, Analytics, AI/ML foundations).
This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and commercial awareness to guide customers through their cloud adoption journey effectively.

Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery sessions, deeply understanding customer IT landscapes, business drivers, and pain points.
Design and articulate fit-for-purpose, secure, and scalable cloud solutions on Google Cloud.
Effectively translate complex technical features and capabilities of Google Cloud products into tangible business outcomes, Return on Investment (ROI), and competitive differentiators for the client’s executive and technical leadership. This will also include visiting clients’ sites, as well as Google's offices in London.
Create and deliver persuasive, tailored technical demonstrations and workshops to showcase how specific Google Cloud services solve the customer’s unique challenges.
Serve as the subject matter expert for Google Cloud Infrastructure and Data within the sales team, providing training and technical updates to Account Executives and Marketing teams.
Act as the voice of the customer, capturing and relaying critical market feedback and technical requirements to Netpremacy’s Delivery and Product teams to ensure service offerings remain relevant.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of competing cloud providers (AWS, Azure) and translate this knowledge into effective competitive positioning against alternative solutions.

✅ Committed to continuous learning in the fast-paced cloud landscape, staying current with Google Cloud product releases and industry trends.
✅ Hands-on experience and architectural knowledge of core Google Cloud concepts and services, covering: Infrastructure, Application Modernisation and Data
✅ Proven track record in a customer-facing technical role
✅ Experience with common enterprise migration frameworks and tools (e.g., lift-and-shift, re-platforming, re-factoring).
Desirable but not essential:
✅ Professional Cloud Architect and/or Professional Data Engineer on Google Cloud certifications.
